Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to client locations and deliver mobile glazing services on site
  • Evaluate what each glazing job needs before any work begins
  • Safely and efficiently take out damaged windscreens, then cut and prepare replacement glass for fitting
  • Fit windscreens and automotive glass across light vehicles, commercial trucks, heavy machinery and mining equipment
  • Produce a high standard of workmanship on every vehicle you service
  • Organise your own daily schedule with considerable autonomy, ranking jobs by client and operational priorities
  • Keep customers and colleagues clearly informed as work progresses
  • Look after your tools, equipment and the company vehicle
  • Observe every relevant safety and site procedure

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Certificate III in Automotive Glazing Technology
  • Minimum 2 years' automotive glazing experience in a relevant role, covering light vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
  • Proficiency in cutting automotive glass
  • Careful attention to detail and strong management of your time
  • Able to work autonomously as well as productively as part of a team
  • Excellent spoken communication skills and a dependable, trustworthy manner
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and willing to take part in ongoing drug and alcohol screening
  • Experience with ADAS calibration is advantageous
  • Holding Working at Heights, EWP and Forklift tickets is advantageous
  • Candidates who need sponsorship may be eligible for consideration
