Motorcycle Mechanic

Day to day, the work spans scheduled servicing, fault-finding, mechanical repair and testing once each job is finished, all carried out to professional workshop and safety standards. The dealership wants a hands-on technician who applies trade knowledge with confidence, works to set technical procedures and produces dependable results on every bike.

Your practical background, trade training and proven motorcycle skills will carry real weight here, whether you are working in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh today or somewhere else entirely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run checks on each bike to spot faults, wear and upcoming maintenance needs
  • Pinpoint mechanical and electrical problems with suitable test and diagnostic tools
  • Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to the manufacturer's specifications
  • Strip, examine and rebuild engines and other mechanical assemblies
  • Fix or renew worn and defective mechanical parts
  • Look after the brakes, suspension, steering and transmission on each machine, servicing and repairing them as needed
  • Handle engine services, oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups
  • Refer to technical manuals and factory procedures throughout each repair, then road-test and fine-tune the bike to confirm it performs as it should
  • Determine what repairs are required and explain the technical detail to the people who need it
  • Log every completed repair, service and part used accurately, and keep the workshop orderly and compliant with workplace safety requirements
  • Step in on urgent repairs and breakdown jobs when the need arises

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Minimum two years of relevant industry experience, including demonstrated hands-on servicing and repair work on motorcycles
  • A relevant Motorcycle Mechanical Technology qualification or an equivalent trade qualification, and the ability to provide evidence of your qualifications and employment history
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on mechanical systems
  • Sound knowledge of motorcycle engines and their electrical, braking, suspension, steering and transmission systems
  • Confidence operating motorcycle diagnostic and workshop equipment, and in reading and following technical manuals and manufacturer specifications
  • A demonstrated commitment to accurate, quality workmanship, backed by a strong understanding of workshop safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a professional team
