A professional automotive repair workshop in NSW wants an experienced Automotive Spray Painter who takes real pride in a high-quality finish.
The right tradesperson will confidently handle every kind of vehicle refinishing, from smaller repairs through to larger restoration and accident-damage work. Key Responsibilities
- Assess each surface, decide on the preparation it needs and prepare panels and vehicle surfaces for refinishing
- Handle sanding, masking, priming and other prep work
- Mix and apply automotive paint and clear coats using Glasurit paint products and systems, operating spray equipment safely
- Complete both small and large paint repairs, achieving accurate colour matching and consistent finishes
- Inspect finished work for defects or imperfections and rectify any finishing issues
- Keep the workshop and equipment clean and well maintained
- Work closely with the wider repair team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Automotive Spray Painter with relevant hands-on experience in the vehicle repair industry
- Competent across small and large-scale repairs, with a strong understanding of automotive refinishing techniques and experience using professional paint systems
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive, professional attitude, strong reliability and personal responsibility
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible in meeting workshop requirements
- Sponsorship available for suitable overseas applicants
