A CV can list your baking background; this role asks you to prove it. An established South Australian food business wants a qualified Baker with genuine commercial bakery skills, practical production experience and a record of delivering the same high result every shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Weigh, mix and prepare ingredients precisely, then produce breads and sweet yeast lines that meet commercial standards
- Stick to set recipes, techniques and production procedures
- Operate industrial ovens and other commercial equipment with care, keeping an eye on each bake so quality stays even
- Get the day's preparation, baking and packing done in line with production requirements
- Keep output at standard even when the bakery is busy and deadlines are tight
- Work hygienically and safely under food safety and workplace safety procedures, keeping the workspace tidy, organised and efficient
- Move ingredients and finished goods safely, including loads of up to 25kg
- Work closely with fellow bakers to reach production targets, supporting smooth daily operations with dependable, organised work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in commercial baking, gained hands-on in a food production environment or commercial bakery
- Certificate III in Baking preferred
- Practical familiarity with commercial bakery equipment and industrial ovens
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of recipes, baking methods and production processes, together with food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to keep products consistent and to a high quality
- Ability to work early shifts commencing from approximately 2:00am
- Good physical stamina, including being able to lift up to 25kg
- Current and valid driver's licence, plus reliable transport
- A strong work ethic and dependable attendance, working cooperatively as part of a professional bakery team
- Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa, and the ability to supply supporting evidence of your qualifications and relevant work experience
- Willingness to work in South Australia; sponsorship is available to candidates meeting the required skills and experience criteria
