Key Responsibilities
- Make espresso-based coffee and a range of other hot drinks to café recipes and presentation standards, with consistent quality
- Run espresso machines, grinders and beverage equipment, and clean and maintain coffee equipment routinely
- Keep workflow efficient when the café is busy
- Look after customers in a friendly, professional way, taking orders and handling payments accurately
- Help prepare and present café food products
- Keep workstations and service areas clean, organised and customer ready
- Check beverage supplies, help with stock control and support daily opening and closing
- Work safely and observe food hygiene standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven hands-on experience as a barista, with strong technical knowledge of coffee preparation
- Able to work quickly while keeping quality and consistency high during busy periods
- A background in hospitality or customer-facing service
- Good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, committed attitude to work
- High standards of personal presentation and cleanliness, plus an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexible for rostered shifts and weekend work
