Key Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial carpentry on a pipeline of ongoing construction projects, including general carpentry and finishing work
- Handle interior fit-outs such as skirting and architrave installation
- Fit commercial doors and their associated hardware, and lay decking and flooring to project requirements
- Measure, cut, assemble and fix timber and related materials with precision
- Work from plans, measurements and job specifications, producing consistent workmanship with close attention to detail
- Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Keep the site safe, meet workplace requirements and cooperate with other trades and site personnel
- Travel to project sites across New South Wales when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of practical carpentry experience, including demonstrated work in commercial carpentry or relevant construction
- Employment or trade experience that is genuine and verifiable, plus the ability to demonstrate practical carpentry skills
- Your own tools suitable for general carpentry work, along with reliable personal transport and willingness to travel between sites
- Current White Card
- Understanding of Australian construction practices and industry standards is desirable
- Must have Australian work rights or meet sponsorship requirements
- Sponsorship is offered to suitable overseas candidates who have verified experience and the required skills
- Working Holiday Visa holders, and Pty Ltd companies or ABN holders with appropriate insurance, are welcome to apply
