Key Responsibilities
- Tile walls and floors on residential jobs, from complete houses to bathrooms, including porcelain installed to a high professional standard
- Prepare surfaces and work areas, then set out tiles accurately before laying
- Measure and cut each tile for a precise fit, choosing the right tools and installation methods
- Hold alignment and spacing consistent, with tight grout lines, clean surfaces and level work free from excessive lippage
- Check finished areas and fix any finishing issues where required
- Keep work practices safe, tidy and efficient
- Cooperate with other trades and the wider project team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Solid background working professionally as a Wall and Floor Tiler, including demonstrated residential experience
- Capable of handling whole-house tiling projects and fully tiled bathroom walls
- Strong practical knowledge of installing porcelain tile, with proven precise, consistent finishes and good attention to detail and quality control
- Able to show your practical tiling skills in a work trial, and willing to complete a practical skills assessment
- Your own suitable tiling tools and a reliable vehicle
- Hold a valid driver's licence
- Currently based in Australia or prepared to relocate
- A reliable, professional approach with strong teamwork and communication skills
