Chef, Cook, Wait Staff

An established restaurant operation in Western Australia is recruiting Chefs, Cooks and Wait Staff with genuine hospitality backgrounds. Please note that applicants must currently reside in Australia and hold valid Australian work rights.
Selection centres on authentic work experience, practical ability, reliability and a sound understanding of how hospitality operations run.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare food to established quality standards, keeping quality, presentation and portion control consistent
- Run kitchen sections efficiently during service
- Prepare ingredients and keep food preparation and work areas clean, safe and organised
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Help with deliveries, stock control and inventory
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams and support less experienced colleagues when required
- Welcome customers, provide professional service and help with menu-related enquiries
- Take orders and serve food and beverages
- Clear, clean and reset tables so the dining room stays professional and welcoming
- Process payments through POS systems
- Pitch in across wider restaurant operations as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience for Chef and Cook positions
- Demonstrated Asian cuisine experience; Japanese cuisine experience is not required
- Relevant Australian qualifications are preferred
- Employment experience that is genuine and verifiable, plus the ability to show practical skills suited to the position
- Good communication and teamwork, with a dependable, professional attitude
- Open to learning established workplace procedures and committed to a long-term hospitality career
- Valid Australian work rights, and currently residing in Australia
- Willing to commence employment before sponsorship is considered
- Sponsorship available for eligible candidates based on verified experience, performance and business requirements
