For an experienced chef considering a move from the UAE to Australia, this permanent full-time position offers stability in a professional aged-care catering setting in Rooty Hill, NSW.
You will work a Sunday to Thursday roster in a supportive workplace, using your culinary skills to produce quality meals for residents. Experience with South American cuisine is particularly welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare nutritious, well-presented meals for residents, keeping quality consistent
- Tailor meals to individual dietary and texture needs, applying IDDSI requirements to modified meals
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- Stay efficient through busy kitchen periods and coordinate with kitchen and care teams
- Contribute to menu preparation and planning, offering variety through culturally appropriate meal options
- Keep an eye on stock and support ordering
- Manage food costs and keep unnecessary waste to a minimum
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience as a Chef in a commercial setting, backed by relevant cooking qualifications
- A genuine interest in preparing quality food, with experience in high-volume food production
- South American cuisine experience preferred; knowledge of Brazilian, Peruvian, Colombian, Argentinian or Chilean cuisine is advantageous
- Understanding of dietary requirements
- Sound food safety and hygiene practices, plus good communication and teamwork
- Aged-care experience desirable
- IDDSI experience desirable
- Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship
- Sponsorship is available for the successful applicant
