A Chef de Partie opening is available for someone whose experience in professional kitchens is genuine and provable, and who can hold their own when service is high-volume. Hands-on ability, consistency and good teamwork are what count here.
You will be part of a skilled culinary brigade led by an experienced Executive Chef, putting your current knowledge to use while gaining wider exposure across sections and continuing to grow professionally. Shifts follow a 4-days-on, 3-days-off pattern, which gives structure to the week and room for life outside the kitchen.
For chefs working in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, this is a considered next move into an Australian kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and plate dishes to the kitchen's set standards, holding flavour, quality and presentation steady
- Move confidently between kitchen sections, helping with prep and service when trade is busy
- Keep prep and service routines precise and juggle competing tasks efficiently
- Work in step with the rest of the kitchen team, communicating clearly with chefs and colleagues
- Follow hygiene, food safety and workplace procedures, keeping workstations and prep areas clean and orderly
- Present to a high standard in an open-kitchen setting
- Help keep the kitchen efficient, respectful and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience gained in hotels, pubs or restaurants, including genuine hands-on work across multiple kitchen sections
- Able to show practical culinary skills and relevant work history, backed by a strong understanding of how professional kitchens run
- Capable of keeping standards up when service is busy, multitasking and performing well under pressure
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Punctual, dependable and very attentive to detail
- Professional presentation and high standards of personal hygiene
- Available for late-night shifts
- A positive outlook, eagerness to learn and a strong commitment to quality and ongoing professional development
- Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates whose skills and experience match the role requirements
