Openings span apprentices and junior Chefs starting out, qualified Chefs sharpening their craft, and senior culinary professionals who bring proven leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Turn out high-quality food across a variety of kitchen sections, taking responsibility for an assigned section when required
- Prep ingredients and keep stock at appropriate levels
- Send out every dish to the required quality and presentation standards, working to kitchen systems, recipes and service procedures
- Uphold food safety and hygiene requirements at all times
- Stay efficient through busy services and help kitchen operations run in a coordinated way
- Communicate clearly with fellow Chefs and restaurant staff, and help train and develop junior team members
- Put forward ideas that lift food quality and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous commercial cookery experience is preferred, and relevant qualifications are desirable depending on the level of the position
- Open to apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations, with an understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures
- Commitment to high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ability to handle pressure and juggle multiple tasks, backed by a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team; leadership skills are preferred for experienced and senior-level applicants
