Key Responsibilities

  • Cook dishes to the restaurant's established recipes and quality standards, applying classical techniques across the menu
  • Produce traditional Italian and Roman-style dishes, and help make fresh handmade pasta and prepare fresh ingredients
  • Get mise en place done efficiently ahead of lunch and dinner, supporting the kitchen's daily operations
  • Keep food quality, portion sizes and presentation consistent from the first plate to the last, monitoring quality through prep and service
  • Stay efficient when service is busy and high in volume
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures, keeping your station clean, organised and professional
  • Communicate clearly with fellow chefs and kitchen colleagues
  • Help with stock preparation and general kitchen organisation
  • Contribute to a positive, professional team culture

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Qualified Chef, with demonstrated experience in a quality-focused restaurant or hotel
  • Relevant culinary qualification or recognised trade certificate
  • Strong practical cooking and preparation skills, with the ability to produce dishes consistently to professional standards
  • Understanding of classical cooking techniques and a genuine interest in Italian cuisine and traditional methods
  • Ability to perform well in a high-volume kitchen, multitasking without losing attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork, plus good organisation and time management
  • A reliable, professional approach and willingness to learn and develop alongside an experienced culinary team
  • Ability to work scheduled lunch and dinner services
