An established hospitality business on the North Coast of New South Wales, around Ulmarra and Coffs Harbour, wants a Cook who is really a versatile hospitality all-rounder, at ease moving between the coffee machine, the café floor and the kitchen.
This suits a practical professional who sees what needs doing and gets on with it without being supervised at every step. Your proven experience, dependability and range across hospitality functions will carry real weight. Confidence with coffee, customers and kitchen support is the core; bar service and cooking experience will also be valued. Key Responsibilities
- Make coffee and café beverages and serve them with warm, professional customer service
- Help run the café and front of house each day, and step behind the bar when required
- Prepare ingredients, support food preparation and carry out kitchen hand or cooking duties in line with your experience
- Switch between service and kitchen work as the day's operational needs shift, staying efficient through busy service periods
- Keep cleanliness and hygiene standards high while following food safety and workplace requirements
- Communicate well with the team, own the duties you are given and see them through reliably
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hands-on hospitality industry experience you can demonstrate; this experience must be capable of being verified
- Strong barista and café service skills, plus practical experience as a kitchen hand or cook
- Confidence working across the different areas of a hospitality business
- Previous bar service experience is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication abilities, with a positive, cooperative team attitude
- Proven reliability and punctuality, and a self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and under pressure during busy periods
- Willingness to work flexible hospitality hours, including weekends
