Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned refrigeration servicing and preventative maintenance, and complete inspections that flag upcoming maintenance needs
- Track down and fix refrigeration system faults, including electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Repair and look after refrigeration plant and its associated equipment
- Attend breakdowns and urgent maintenance calls, providing dependable service in remote site conditions
- Complete every job safely and efficiently, in line with site safety procedures and compliance obligations
- Keep service reports and maintenance paperwork up to date, and liaise with maintenance crews and other site staff
- Look after your tools, equipment and work areas so they stay in good condition
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade-qualified Refrigeration Mechanic holding relevant trade certification, with a valid ARC Licence and a current WA Restricted Electrical Licence
- Background in commercial and/or domestic refrigeration work
- A current driver's licence, plus readiness to obtain or convert licences and certifications where required
- An Australian Federal Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
- Working at Heights and EWP certification, First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification, and a White Card / Construction Card, or willingness to complete or obtain each of these
- Able to satisfy medical as well as drug and alcohol screening requirements
- Physical capacity to handle 12-hour shifts in demanding environments
- A flexible, dependable attitude towards FIFO work
- A firm commitment to safety on the job
- Eligible Australian/New Zealand working rights, or suitability for sponsorship
