Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' clinical needs and respond to shifts in their health and wellbeing.
- Shape person-centred care plans together with residents and their families, then implement and refine them.
- Oversee medication administration and clinical treatments to professional standards.
- Offer leadership, mentoring and direction to care staff.
- Coordinate resident care with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers.
- Produce accurate, timely clinical documentation and reporting, including for AN-ACC assessments.
- Uphold the Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice while contributing to infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- 2+ years' aged care experience as an RN, or equivalent.
- Strong clinical assessment and care coordination capability.
- The ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management, with a sound understanding of medication systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving.
