Venue Manager/ Chefs & Cooks

Keeping a venue humming, from service through to stock, staffing and the guest experience, is a skill built over years. A busy hospitality venue now wants an experienced Venue Manager who has that skill and can prove it.
You should be able to show real experience running teams, steering service and making sound, practical calls when the venue is moving fast. Your hands-on background, leadership and grasp of hospitality operations will sit at the heart of the job.
For venue leaders currently in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, this is a considered next move to Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the busy venue day to day, owning front-of-house performance and how service is delivered
- Lead from the floor during trading, supervising staff and setting the standard others follow
- Draw up and manage rosters, and train, coach and support the team
- Hold service and guest experience to a consistent standard, acting on feedback and fixing issues quickly
- Handle stock ordering and inventory, keeping a close watch on labour, stock and operating costs
- Organise functions, events and special bookings
- Keep operations smooth through peak periods, spotting challenges early and putting workable fixes in place
- Foster a professional, positive culture in the workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven background in venue management or senior hospitality supervision, with hospitality industry experience that is demonstrated and verifiable
- Solid grasp of front-of-house operations and confidence running service when the venue is busy
- A history of leading and developing hospitality teams, with a hands-on style and a professional attitude that leads by example
- Knows rostering, labour management, cost control, stock management and ordering
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Capable of managing functions and events
- Well-organised, able to juggle competing priorities
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated industry experience, plus the ability to provide evidence supporting your claimed skills and employment history
