Venue Manager

Running a high-energy venue in Dubai, Doha or elsewhere and ready for your next move? A growing Queensland hospitality business in Windsor, Brisbane, has a verified opening for an experienced Venue Manager.

This is more than covering shifts. You will lead the team, shape service standards, lift performance and build a place where staff and guests both feel valued, working side by side with your people to keep the venue smooth, lively and focused on the customer.

The emphasis is on verified candidates whose skills, track record and expectations genuinely line up with what the employer needs, so your background should map clearly onto the role's operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the floor during peak trade, inspiring staff and growing a capable, engaged team
  • Oversee onboarding, training, coaching and continuing development for every team member
  • Plan rosters and staffing levels so operations stay efficient, and keep a close watch on stock, ordering and inventory
  • Hold the venue to high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation
  • Resolve guest complaints professionally with practical fixes
  • Track trading performance, drive sales and growth initiatives, and keep costs and venue resources under sensible control
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability and respect while making sure workplace health, safety, food safety and operating procedures are followed

Requirements & Eligibility

  • At least 3 years of relevant background in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
  • Proven record of leading and developing hospitality staff and handling the operational demands of a busy venue
  • Confident, hands-on leadership backed by strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Stays organised and effective when the venue is at its busiest
  • Practical experience with rostering, staff coordination and inventory management, plus strong customer service and problem-solving
  • Able to help deliver sales performance and operational targets while upholding professional workplace and safety standards
  • Relevant work history that professional references and appropriate verification can support, and availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
