Key Responsibilities
- Measure and set out each job, then lay tiles precisely and bring every project to a consistently high standard
- Handle waterproofing, wet-area preparation and screeding so surfaces are properly ready before tiling
- Finish with grouting, epoxy grout where required (training available), caulking and sealing for a clean professional result
- Take down and refit basic shower screens as required
- Review your completed work, correct any finishing issues and stay neat, accurate and detail-focused from start to end
- Keep the site clean, safe and orderly in line with relevant workplace health and safety requirements
- Speak with customers professionally while on their projects, and represent the team through reliable service and quality workmanship
- Work to project schedules and complete allocated jobs within the agreed timeframes
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years' experience in tiling and waterproofing, with demonstrated hands-on tiling capability across varied projects
- Practical experience with waterproofing and screeding, and with basic shower screen removal and refitting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional, customer-focused communication skills; English-speaking
- A current Australian driver's licence and your own suitable commercial vehicle
- Current White Card
- A valid ABN, plus appropriate business and public liability insurances
- Australian work rights or eligibility for sponsorship; if applying for sponsorship, you need to be locally based in South Australia
- A reliable, professional work ethic
- The ability to work independently while keeping workmanship standards high
