A well-established practice in Crows Nest, New South Wales, designs major industrial developments nationwide and is looking for a Graduate Architect with proven technical and documentation experience.
The focus is squarely on delivery: advanced Revit skills, precise construction documents, coordination with consultants and a clear sense of how a design becomes something buildable. You will work on sizeable industrial projects beside experienced Project Leaders and technical specialists, and you should be able to show real project experience through past work and technical ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and keep detailed Revit models up to date across several industrial projects, and help raise internal Revit standards and documentation workflows
- Produce coordinated construction documents from design development right through to delivery, turning architectural intent into practical drawings
- Bring consultant models together, pick up clashes before anything is built and help sort out technical coordination and documentation problems
- Check shop drawings as part of the technical review process
- Make sure documentation reflects NCC requirements and the relevant Australian Standards
- Support site inspections and the project during the construction phase
- Partner with Project Leaders, consultants and fellow technical staff while keeping every documentation package accurate, consistent and of high quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated Revit documentation experience, including strong hands-on Revit modelling and detailing
- Proven track record producing construction documentation for architectural projects
- Demonstrated grasp of buildability and technical coordination, along with working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards
- Able to pull together information from many consultants and disciplines
- Careful, accurate work and close attention to detail
- Clear communicator who works well in a team, with a professional and accountable attitude to delivering projects
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related field; relevant equivalent industry experience may be considered
- Able to show genuine project experience and technical capability
