Key Responsibilities
- Track down and fix complex electrical and electronic faults on heavy mobile equipment, using sharp troubleshooting to cut downtime
- Run preventative maintenance and planned servicing, always within Australian workplace safety standards
- Look after automotive air-con systems, servicing and fixing them as needed
- Check how machines are running and offer technical advice on what they need
- Give reliable, highly professional support out in the field, logging every service and repair in the records
- Team up with colleagues to raise the standard and efficiency of the service
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Auto Electrician whose trade certification is recognised
- Demonstrated hands-on background across heavy vehicles, mobile plant or mining equipment, with strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic know-how
- Previous work on air-conditioning systems preferred
- Can read electrical diagrams and make sense of technical information
- Holds a current driver's licence and can satisfy the site's medical and workplace requirements
- Communicates in good English for workplace safety and reporting
- Equally effective working alone or as part of a team, and committed to safe practices and high-quality workmanship
- You must be able to show verifiable trade experience and work history; eligible applicants may be considered for Australian employer sponsorship opportunities
