Eligible candidates relocating to Queensland may also receive a relocation incentive of up to $2,500, subject to applicable conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts, fades and contemporary barbering, plus beard trimming, shaping and grooming
- Talk through each client's preferences and suggest styles that suit
- Use strong technique to produce precise, consistent results, keeping presentation and workmanship at a high level
- Give every client a professional, welcoming experience that builds lasting relationships
- Keep workstations and equipment clean and hygienic, following workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Manage appointments and complete services efficiently
- Stay across current barbering styles, techniques and trends
- Cooperate with the team to keep the shop positive and professional
- Show reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Barber, backed by a relevant barbering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
- Strong practical skill in cutting and fading, along with demonstrated beard grooming and styling experience
- Turns out high-quality barbering results every time, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills, and professional in attitude and presentation
- Reliable, motivated and committed to quality
- Confident working on your own and as part of a team
- Able to verify your relevant qualifications, experience and trade capability
- Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate work visa; Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply
- Sponsorship is on offer for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate
- Prepared to relocate to Queensland where required
