A leading engineering and maintenance contractor in Bunbury is hiring experienced Boilermakers and Pipefitters. You will split your time between the workshop and client sites, handling structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) fabrication, maintenance and shutdown work for the resources and energy industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install structural steel, and build, assemble and fit industrial piping systems
- Weld to approved procedures and recognised industry standards
- Repair and service pressure vessels, tanks and structural components
- Read engineering drawings and fabrication plans to guide both workshop builds and on-site installations
- Take part in shutdowns and maintenance campaigns
- Inspect finished components to confirm they meet quality standards
- Run fabrication equipment and power tools safely, including in confined spaces and at heights when needed
- Follow health and safety procedures on every shift and keep your work area clean and tidy
- Cooperate with supervisors and project crews, and complete project paperwork and reports as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian trade qualification, or a recognised overseas equivalent, in Boilermaking or Pipefitting
- Demonstrated structural, mechanical and piping fabrication experience, including previous work on industrial or mining projects
- Able to pass 3G or 4G MMAW and FCAW welding tests
- Current Working at Heights and current Confined Space certifications
- High Risk Work Licence carrying an EWP endorsement, plus a Construction White Card
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and excellent teamwork and communication
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol screening
