Day to day, you would turn detailed designs into precisely manufactured custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial clients. The role suits tradespeople with solid cabinet making experience, a firm grasp of technical drawings and confidence on modern manufacturing equipment. For joiners and cabinet makers working in Dubai, Sharjah or elsewhere in the Gulf, it is a considered next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce made-to-measure kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and bespoke cabinetry and joinery that match project specifications
- Work from technical drawings, plans and production paperwork, measuring and preparing materials accurately
- Run CNC routers and other automated woodworking machinery, plus panel saws, beam saws and edge banding equipment
- Assemble cabinet and joinery components with precision
- Check quality at every stage of production, spot manufacturing issues and adjust as needed so finished pieces meet the required quality and presentation standards
- Help with installation on site when required
- Keep tools, equipment and the work area in good order, following workplace health and safety requirements
- Cooperate with the production and installation teams, completing assigned work efficiently without compromising quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant Cabinet Making trade qualification or equivalent experience, with a minimum 3–5 years of practical cabinet making behind you
- Demonstrated work producing custom cabinetry, and a background in residential and/or commercial joinery manufacturing; experience with premium residential or commercial joinery is advantageous
- Practical experience running CNC machinery
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, plus strong knowledge of cabinet construction and manufacturing processes
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, delivering quality workmanship consistently
- A reliable, responsible and professional approach and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Overseas applicants must meet applicable Australian migration requirements
