Carpenter/ Timber Floor Installer

A growing construction company is adding an experienced Carpenter / Direct Stick Flooring Installer to its team. The full-time role offers long-term employment on a mix of residential and commercial projects, with room for career progression.
You will deliver high-quality carpentry and engineered timber flooring, working with a professional crew that prizes craftsmanship, reliability and continuous improvement. The package includes competitive remuneration, travel support where required and a positive team culture.
For carpenters currently working in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, this is a considered next step in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake general carpentry on residential and commercial projects, reading plans, specifications and project requirements
- Lay direct stick engineered timber flooring to a high finish, completing each installation safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut and fit timber and other building materials with accuracy
- Use and look after carpentry tools and equipment
- Keep workmanship, attention to detail and quality standards high on every job, offering professional service throughout
- Help with project planning and task coordination where needed, and finish projects within scheduled timeframes
- Work both independently and alongside the project team
- Keep the site clean and safe, and follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 3 years' carpentry experience is preferred
- A trade qualification in Carpentry, or equivalent experience, is preferred; experience laying direct stick engineered timber flooring is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship, with a reliable, punctual approach to delivering high-quality work
- Comfortable working on your own or as part of a team, across both residential and commercial construction projects
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and build new skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current driver's licence
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
