Key Responsibilities
- Shape and support a team of educators through mentoring, so programs are delivered to a high standard.
- Uphold the NQF, the National Law & Regulations and the service's policies.
- Pursue continuous improvement, holding the service to the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Cultivate trusted relationships with families and the wider community.
- Oversee occupancy, enrolments and the sustainability of the service, together with overall centre performance, team outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Safeguard an inclusive, child-focused learning environment, applying the Child Safe Standards and a culture that places child safety first.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A proven background in leadership within early childhood education.
- Strong, assured understanding of the National Quality Framework.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with warmth, clarity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and a gift for building relationships.
- A passion for high-quality early care and education.
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA approved equivalent.
- A current Working With Children Check, First Aid and relevant clearances, as well as current Child Safety and Child Protection Training.
