A well-regarded public practice in New South Wales is looking for a Client Manager whose background, credentials and career history line up with what the firm needs.
The model is refreshingly different. There are no traditional timesheets; clients pay a monthly subscription, so your energy goes into meaningful engagement instead of chasing billable hours. Day to day, you will look after an existing book of clients and guide owners on cash flow, forecasting, planning, financial performance and tax. For advisers currently working in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha, it is a considered next move.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of an existing book of business clients, serving as their dependable, professional adviser on an ongoing basis
- Grow lasting relationships of trust with the owners you advise
- Offer practical, commercially minded business advisory guidance
- Work through financial information with clients, discuss how their businesses are performing and point out opportunities, risks and areas to improve
- Back clients in strategic decision-making and business planning, including managing cash flow and building financial forecasts
- Give guidance on tax and accounting questions
- Oversee the compliance side of accounting and taxation
- Collaborate with colleagues so every client receives accurate, high-quality work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years spent in public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- A demonstrated history of advising and managing business clients, plus strong capability in business advisory and in managing client relationships
- Excellent communication that earns trust and credibility, and confidence when working one-on-one with owners and senior decision-makers
- Strong commercial awareness, a practical way of solving problems and sound knowledge of compliance requirements in accounting and taxation
- Qualifications and a professional history that the employer can verify; Australian work experience will be highly regarded
- Sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates who bring suitable experience and verified credentials
