CNC Press Brake / Turret Operator

The employer needs a Press Shop Team Member with practical Press Brake and/or Turret experience to work on advanced CNC manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Run Press Brake and/or Turret CNC machinery on the production floor
- Prepare machine setups and choose suitable operating parameters for each job
- Read technical drawings, work orders and production instructions before starting
- Bend, form and straighten sheet-metal components to the specified dimensions and tolerances
- Check finished parts against the required quality and accuracy
- Adjust machines as needed so output stays consistent
- Keep watch on production performance and hold material waste to a minimum
- Deliver allocated work in line with production and delivery schedules
- Flag any equipment, material or quality concerns promptly
- Observe every manufacturing, quality and workplace safety procedure, keeping machinery and work areas orderly
- Keep supervisors and fellow production team members informed through clear communication
- Contribute to the smooth daily running of the Press Shop
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven, hands-on capability on Press Brake and/or Turret machinery, gained in sheet-metal fabrication or manufacturing
- Practical CNC experience in machine operation and/or setup, together with a working knowledge of sheet-metal forming and bending processes
- Able to read technical drawings and production specifications, with a demonstrated eye for accuracy and quality
- Comfortable keeping up an efficient pace where production is the priority
- Strong safety awareness, a dependable work ethic, and good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to take on night shifts, Monday to Friday
- Able to back your application with a verifiable employment history and relevant experience
