A long-standing Queensland provider of early childhood education is enlarging its kindergarten teaching team and wants 5 passionate Early Childhood Teachers, all in full-time positions.

Visa sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates, a potential pathway for suitably qualified international Early Childhood Teachers. Packages may be tailored to the successful applicant and can include flexible working arrangements, competitive remuneration and potential childcare assistance. For educators in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, it is a considered career step.
Key Responsibilities
- Run kindergarten learning programs that are engaging and suited to each developmental stage
- Provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating space for every child
- Nurture each child's individual learning, development and wellbeing
- Plan, record and review educational experiences
- Follow each child's progress through observations and learning documentation
- Keep electronic programs, observations and learning portfolios current
- Form positive, respectful relationships with the children in your care
- Build strong, professional partnerships with parents and families, sharing how each child is learning and developing
- Work alongside fellow educators and other teaching professionals
- Help drive continuous improvement in the kindergarten program
- Work in line with the relevant National Quality Standards and National Regulations
- Keep health, safety and wellbeing practices at an appropriate standard
- Take part in professional development and ongoing training, exchanging knowledge and ideas with Early Childhood Teachers across the wider group
- Help foster a collaborative, respectful and positive workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- OR, as an alternative, hold an approved Diploma-level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification while studying actively towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
- OR be studying actively towards an approved ECT qualification with at least 50% of it completed; academic transcripts are needed when you apply under this 50% completed pathway
- Applications from overseas-qualified candidates are encouraged
- Fulfil whatever ACECQA assessment requirements apply
- Fulfil the relevant English language requirements
- Be eligible under the applicable Australian visa pathway
- Be eligible to obtain, and then maintain, a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
- Clear a National Police Check successfully
- Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, or gain these qualifications as required
- Show strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bring a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Show energy, enthusiasm and a strong professional work ethic
- Be dependable, flexible and willing to contribute within a team environment
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, grounded in an understanding of children's learning and development
- Be committed to a long-term career in the early childhood sector
