Electrical Technician

As Electrical Technician you would keep the plant performing through preventative maintenance, sharp fault-finding and repairs carried out without delay.

Key Responsibilities
- Keep electrical systems and industrial plant equipment in sound working order, completing repairs and maintenance work
- Investigate electrical faults and diagnose their root cause
- Deliver preventative maintenance programs and respond to corrective maintenance as it arises
- Look for ways to lift equipment reliability and help reduce downtime and interruptions to production, including efficient, cost-effective maintenance solutions
- Partner with maintenance and production personnel and contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Follow every applicable safety, health and environmental procedure
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current Australian Electrical Licence is essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or related environments, with practical industrial maintenance behind you
- Strong troubleshooting and electrical fault-finding experience
- A high level of safety awareness, the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and strong teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications and an employment history that must be verifiable
- Instrumentation experience will be an advantage, and SAP knowledge will be an advantage too
