Electrician

Experienced electricians holding recognised New Zealand electrical certification are wanted for roles in Western Australia and Queensland. The work on offer may cover major shutdowns, industrial maintenance and project-based electrical assignments.
This is a way to carry your established trade into a new Australian setting, where your experience, qualifications and practical capability are properly assessed and matched to the right opportunities. Candidates are considered on verified trade credentials, past industry experience and their preferred working arrangement, with both relocation and Western Australian FIFO options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, completing assigned shutdown, maintenance and project tasks to required standards
- Check equipment, facilities and electrical systems for defects and faults, diagnosing problems and carrying out the right corrective work
- Read technical documentation, schematics and electrical drawings
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections as required, applying safe work practices and site-specific electrical procedures
- Keep compliance documentation and job records accurate, helping keep electrical systems compliant and reliable
- Work in step with project teams, supervisors and other trades
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification and proven experience as a qualified electrician
- Relevant mining, infrastructure or industrial experience
- Demonstrated hands-on fault-finding and electrical maintenance ability, with an understanding of site procedures, compliance and electrical safety
- Able to interpret technical information and electrical drawings
- Willing to work in Queensland or Western Australia, including FIFO shutdown work in Western Australia where applicable
- Australian working rights or eligibility for an Australian work visa; applicants requiring visa sponsorship may be considered
- Candidates must be able to provide evidence of their relevant experience and qualifications
