Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain commercial electrical systems, completing each installation to the project's requirements
- Contribute to infrastructure and development projects, including installing, servicing and maintaining streetlighting
- Read electrical drawings, plans and technical specifications accurately
- Find, diagnose and fix electrical faults
- Manage your assigned responsibilities independently while keeping workmanship high on every project
- Comply with electrical regulations, workplace procedures and safety requirements, operating and caring for tools and equipment safely
- Keep supervisors, colleagues and project stakeholders informed
- Adjust to varied project requirements and work environments, and help build a dependable, professional team culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current EWRB Electrical Registration, together with a current New Zealand Practising Licence or eligibility to obtain one
- 3–5+ years of commercial electrical experience, with strong hands-on knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance
- A verifiable employment history in the electrician trade
- Ability to show genuine practical electrical skills
- Confidence to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and a strong commitment to health and safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach, with the ability to collaborate within a small team
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand or suitability for employer-supported sponsorship
