Proven skill, professional standards and the trust of clients are what lasting electrical careers rest on. This New South Wales role is for an experienced Electrical & Security Technician who can show real trade capability and take charge of jobs in both homes and commercial premises.
The work blends conventional electrical tasks with modern security technology such as CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control. You will stay local, work a steady 40-hour week and get the training and support to widen your technical range.
For electricians currently in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh weighing a move from UAE to Australia, it is a considered next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Fit and look after CCTV and security surveillance, alarm systems, intercoms and access control solutions
- Visit customer sites, assess what each job needs and complete allocated work accurately, efficiently and to a high professional standard
- Take ownership of your jobs with little supervision
- Earn client confidence through professional presentation and communication, keeping them updated on job progress and requirements
- Represent the business well in customers’ homes and commercial premises
- Comply with electrical safety requirements and workplace procedures
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas tidy and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian electrical licence or overseas electrical qualification eligible for Australian licensing; overseas-qualified candidates who meet Australian licensing eligibility are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 3 years of practical electrical experience, covering demonstrated residential and commercial electrical work
- Confident working with electrical installations and systems
- Experience with CCTV, alarms, intercoms or access control is advantageous
- Your own electrical hand tools
- Australian driver's licence and White Card
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets are advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with professional conduct and appearance around clients
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently, and able to provide verifiable qualifications and employment experience
- Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates
