Formwork Carpenter

An experienced construction team in Western Australia wants to add a Formwork Carpenter whose industry background is proven, verifiable and built on quality workmanship.
The right person can show genuine hands-on capability and adapts with confidence as projects and site conditions change. You will take on formwork alongside general carpentry, working with seasoned colleagues across a range of builds.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, assemble and strip formwork structures on a variety of construction projects
- Work from construction drawings, plans and specifications, measuring, marking, cutting and installing materials with accuracy
- Handle general carpentry and construction tasks when they are needed
- Use hand and power tools in a safe, efficient way
- Check finished work for accuracy and quality
- Observe site safety procedures and construction requirements, keeping your work area clean and orderly
- Work on your own initiative as well as within the construction crew
- Move between project sites when required, adjusting to each site's conditions and project requirements
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated background as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter, with genuine, verifiable construction industry experience
- Relevant carpentry qualification or recognised trade certification preferred
- Experience on active construction sites
- White Card
- Current driver's licence preferred
- Reliable transport and your own hand and power tools
- Able to work independently, bringing a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willing to travel between construction sites
- Willing to work in regional areas where required
- Able to satisfy applicable employment and sponsorship requirements, with sponsorship available for the right candidate
