Key Responsibilities
- Consult with each client, suggest suitable styles and treatments, and tailor hairdressing and styling services to their individual needs
- Achieve consistent, quality finishes across cutting, styling, colouring and other relevant services, drawing on strong technical knowledge
- Keep every appointment professional and build lasting client relationships through dependable, personalised service
- Grow and strengthen your own client following while working towards salon targets without letting service quality slip
- Stay current with techniques, products and trends, and recommend appropriate professional haircare products where they suit
- Keep the salon workspace clean, organised and welcoming
- Work on your own while contributing to the wider salon team
- Take part in training and continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Hairdresser or Stylist, backed by strong practical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Genuine, verifiable industry experience you can demonstrate, with evidence supporting your previous professional experience
- A confident approach to consultation and styling, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to quality and client satisfaction
- Able to work on your own and within a team
- Reliable, well-organised and professionally presented, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willing to learn and adapt as industry trends evolve
- A relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience; eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship
