Key Responsibilities
- Talk through the look each client wants, assess their hair and offer sound professional recommendations
- Carry out cutting, styling, colouring and other suitable salon treatments to a high technical standard
- Give every client consistent, personalised service while following the salon's procedures and service standards
- Keep your own presentation, and the salon itself, at a professional level
- Stay current with new techniques, products and trends, and join the training and education on offer
- Collaborate smoothly with the wider salon team
- Contribute to creative projects, photoshoots and fashion-related work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Demonstrated professional background in hairdressing, including hands-on work as a Hairdresser, Stylist and/or Colourist
- Genuine practical technical skills you are able to demonstrate, supported by knowledge of contemporary hairdressing and colouring techniques
- Strong communication and client consultation skills, with a professional, customer-focused manner
- Able to work efficiently when the salon is busy
- A positive attitude and a willingness to keep learning
- Able to supply evidence that supports your qualifications and employment history
- Relevant experience must be verifiable through appropriate employment documentation
