Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hairstyling and finishing, including blow-dries, upstyles, braids and occasion styles
- Design tailored looks around each client's individual requirements, and prepare clients for weddings, events and professional photoshoots
- Keep workmanship and personal presentation to a high standard while offering friendly, professional customer service
- Collaborate with colleagues on coordinated client experiences and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture
- Support events, campaigns and creative industry projects
- Stay current with hair trends and styling techniques, joining education programs and industry masterclasses
- Use professional products and equipment correctly
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant hairstyling qualification or substantial professional experience, with demonstrated skill across a range of hairstyling techniques
- Experience delivering services in a professional salon or similar setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional appearance and client-focused approach
- A creative mindset and real passion for the beauty industry
- Able to keep quality high while working under time pressure
- Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team
- Committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and willing to take part in salon, event and creative opportunities
