South Boulder, on the edge of Kalgoorlie, is the base for this full-time trade position with a well-established industrial engineering and maintenance company in Western Australia. The business wants a seasoned Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder) to join its crew.
Expect practical work from start to finish: fabricating, welding, assembling, repairing and maintaining. Part of your week will be spent in the workshop and part out in the field, where site maintenance and breakdown call-outs come with the territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Work from engineering drawings, plans and specifications to mark out and measure up every job
- Cut structural and mechanical stock to size, then bend and form metal parts
- Build components and structures through fabrication, assembly and welding
- Modify and repair equipment and plant
- Keep fixed and mobile plant running by supporting maintenance activities, and attend breakdowns to carry out corrective work
- Split fabrication duties between the workshop and site locations
- Inspect finished fabrications for accuracy and quality against the specified standards
- Operate fabrication equipment and workshop machines, looking after their routine maintenance
- Follow site requirements and safe work procedures at all times
- Keep your work area orderly and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III, or a qualification of equivalent standard
- Minimum 3 years full-time experience in Metal Fabrication, with a proven background as a Boilermaker/Welder
- Strong welding and fabrication skills, and competence interpreting engineering drawings
- National Police Certificate
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment and a drug and alcohol screening
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications, both obtained within the past 2 years
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Strong dedication to quality and safety, and good teamwork and communication skills
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or relevant work rights
