Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld on custom projects, producing quality components in steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Work from project specifications, technical plans and workshop drawings, choosing the right welding techniques and fabrication methods
- Run fabrication machinery, workshop equipment and tools safely, always meeting health and safety requirements
- Head out for installation and field work as required
- Solve problems as they arise with practical, trade-based answers
- Partner with project teams to deliver quality results on deadline, holding accuracy, detail and workmanship to a professional standard
- Share technical know-how and ideas that drive continuous improvement
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding or similar
- Demonstrated experience in professional welding and fabrication environments, with the ability to showcase strong technical skills and past project work
- Competent at reading and understanding engineering drawings, and experienced with various metals and fabrication processes
- Strongly committed to workplace safety, reliability and quality
- Effective working on your own and as part of a team, with a practical, detail-aware approach to problem-solving
- Willing to take on workshop-based and occasional site-based duties
- Overseas-qualified tradespeople with verifiable experience are encouraged to apply, and candidates who meet skill, qualification and experience requirements may be eligible for employer sponsorship
