Core work includes devanning containers, inbound receiving, restocking, keeping the warehouse in order and occasionally fulfilling orders. For experienced warehouse staff in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, it is a considered next move.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive forklifts within the warehouse with safety and responsibility
- Take delivery of incoming containers and shipments, handling them safely
- Devan containers and arrange the goods received
- Accept, inspect and process incoming stock with accuracy
- Confirm quantities, product condition and the related receiving information
- Flag discrepancies, damaged goods or receiving issues as soon as you find them
- Restock the warehouse and keep storage areas in good order
- Help pick and pack customer orders when required
- Keep housekeeping and cleanliness at a high standard
- Comply with workplace health, safety and operational procedures
- Order your daily tasks to keep the workflow efficient, cooperating with warehouse and logistics teams
- Respond to shifting priorities and lend a hand in other warehouse functions when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current and valid forklift licence
- Relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution or stock handling
- Genuine, verifiable employment experience that relates to this position
- Able to demonstrate practical capability in warehouse work and forklift handling
- Strong attention to detail when receiving, storing and managing stock
- Dependable attendance and a professional approach to workplace duties
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow established procedures accurately
- Committed to workplace health and safety standards
- Physically able to carry out warehouse and manual handling duties
- MPI Accredited Person certification is an advantage, and an understanding of MPI requirements for container handling is also an advantage
- Able to meet the applicable requirements for employer-sponsored employment
