You would be part of a specialist team producing high-standard plumbing and heating outcomes on premium building projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and look after plumbing on homes and commercial buildings, covering hot and cold water supply, sanitary work and fixtures
- Fit and service pipes, pumps, valves and the controls that run plumbing systems
- Take on hydronic heating jobs, such as underfloor heating pipe runs and the associated heating parts
- Fit, swap out and commission hot water cylinders and heat pump water heaters, and help on technical heating projects and HVAC-related plumbing
- Work out each job from construction plans, drawings and specs, then measure, cut and join pipe using sound trade methods
- Pressure-test new systems, commission them and confirm they perform as intended
- Track down faults, complete repairs and come up with plumbing fixes that work
- Keep every job site safe and tidy to health and safety standards, and look after company tools, equipment and resources
- Coordinate with builders, technicians and other trades on site
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised plumbing qualification, supported by relevant industry experience
- New Zealand plumbing registration, or eligibility to achieve registration
- Minimum three years’ experience across plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance, with a proven record on both residential and commercial jobs
- Exposure to hydronic heating, underfloor heating or HVAC plumbing systems is advantageous
- Able to make sense of technical drawings, plans and what each project requires
- Sharp technical troubleshooting and close attention to detail, backed by dedication to first-rate workmanship and dependable service
- Communicates clearly and fits well into a professional team
- Valid driver licence or willingness to obtain one
- Able to supply verified records of work history, qualifications and trade experience; suitable overseas candidates may be considered for AEWV sponsorship based on eligibility requirements
