Key Responsibilities
- Plan lessons, prepare the teaching materials and classroom resources behind them, and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons in line with curriculum standards
- Build a classroom that feels safe, inclusive and positive for every learner
- Assess how students are performing, give meaningful feedback and keep student records and assessment documentation accurate
- Nurture each student's academic, social and emotional growth
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership, and keep parents and caregivers well informed
- Take part in professional learning and school initiatives, contributing positively to the broader school community
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Bachelor of Education or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Eligibility for teacher registration in the relevant Australian state
- Teaching experience in Primary or Secondary education
- Strong communication and classroom management skills, together with a commitment to delivering high-quality education
- Comfortable working within a collaborative school environment
- Eligibility for Australian work rights or visa sponsorship
- Prepared to relocate to Queensland, Australia if required
