The permanent position offers 186 visa sponsorship to eligible candidates, together with relocation assistance for the move to regional NSW.
The employer is looking for a long-term commitment. The nurse appointed will be required to relocate to the regional NSW area and to sign on for a minimum 2-year contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Give residents nursing care that is safe, kind and of a high standard, looking after their continuing health and wellbeing
- Carry out resident assessments, keep watch on existing health conditions, and act promptly when someone’s health changes
- Write each resident’s care plan, put it into practice and revisit it regularly
- Give medications and treatments as clinical requirements direct
- Keep thorough, accurate clinical notes
- Work hand in hand with care staff, doctors and allied health professionals, and keep residents and their families well informed
- Protect each resident’s dignity, independence and quality of life in a safe, respectful setting
- Work within the relevant clinical, aged care and workplace health and safety standards
- Add to a positive, supportive team atmosphere
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current experience practising as a Registered Nurse in Australia, along with valid Australian working rights
- Experience in aged care is highly regarded
- A current Police Check
- Sound clinical judgement and strong communication skills
- Brings professionalism, reliability and compassion to resident care, and works well within a multidisciplinary team
- A genuine wish to build a long-term career in regional NSW, and readiness to relocate to and live in the regional NSW area
- Commitment to a minimum 2-year employment contract
- 186 visa sponsorship is offered to eligible candidates
- Eligible candidates can also receive relocation assistance
