Key Responsibilities
- Carry out in-depth client consultations to understand each person's hair needs
- Provide professional cutting, colouring, styling and other salon services
- Produce polished, consistent results that meet professional standards
- Advise clients on suitable hair care, styling and maintenance solutions
- Offer hair extension services where you hold the qualification or experience
- Build lasting client relationships and support retention through quality service and professional communication
- Ensure every client enjoys a welcoming, professional experience, with your own presentation reflecting salon standards
- Collaborate with fellow stylists and salon staff to support a positive, productive salon culture
- Keep your workstation clean, organised and hygienic while following salon procedures and health and safety requirements
- Stay current with hair trends, techniques and industry developments
- Take part in professional training and skills development
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training
- Proven experience as a Senior Hair Stylist or experienced professional hairdresser, backed by a demonstrable history in professional salons
- Ability to verify your professional identity, qualifications and relevant employment experience, and willingness to take part in the required verification process
- In-depth technical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Confident consultation and interpersonal skills with clients
- A high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Passion for hairdressing and continued skills development
- A professional, reliable and motivated approach, working well both independently and within a team
- Understanding of salon hygiene, safety and professional standards
- Experience with hair extensions is highly regarded
- A suitable, eligible candidate can be offered sponsorship
