Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality cuts, colour and styling, tailoring each look while keeping technical standards excellent
- Talk through each client's preferences and advise on suitable services and professional products
- Make every visit professional and memorable, building lasting rapport with both first-time and regular clients
- Use professional haircare products, tools and equipment confidently
- Keep pace with emerging hair trends, techniques and industry practice through training, workshops and ongoing professional development
- Maintain salon presentation and hygiene at a consistently high standard
- Work as one with the other stylists and salon staff, passing on knowledge and guidance to junior team members
- Contribute to a salon culture that is positive, productive and centred on clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised hairdressing qualification
- Proven background as a Senior Stylist or in a role of equivalent seniority, backed by strong hands-on skills in colouring, cutting and styling
- A demonstrated record of employment in professional salons, and the ability to back this up with evidence of relevant qualifications and industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional client-service manner
- Able to work on your own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Genuine passion for the craft of hairdressing, committed to delivering high-quality results
- Willingness to mentor and support stylists who are still developing, along with a commitment to your own ongoing learning and skills development
