A long-established engineering and manufacturing company in Wetherill Park, Sydney, is hiring experienced First-Class Welders/Fabricators for heavy engineering and fabrication projects in its modern workshop.

Key Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate to engineering specifications using MIG, TIG and Stick processes on a range of projects
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and technical specifications before starting each job
- Fabricate, assemble and repair steel components, then inspect finished work so it is accurate and matches the specifications and quality standards
- Run workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep your work area safe, tidy and organised, following workplace health and safety procedures without exception
- Meet production deadlines working independently, and cooperate with supervisors and colleagues to deliver project goals
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification as a Welder, Boilermaker, Fabricator or equivalent, together with proven workshop experience in welding and fabrication
- Skilled in MIG, TIG and Stick welding, and able to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Keen eye for detail, a commitment to high-quality workmanship and the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Good communication skills and a positive, dependable work ethic
