Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
A considered next step for an experienced car mechanic. A vehicle compliance centre in Auckland has a permanent, full-time position on a Monday to Friday week.
The centre carries out compliance inspections, servicing and repairs on the full range of vehicles, including WOF inspections. The role involves preparing imported cars for inspection by stripping them carefully, servicing and repairing vehicles, collecting parts from suppliers and supporting colleagues, with invoices, WOF inspections and repair time recorded on the computer system.
One point deserves attention, wherever you are reading this from. The business is an accredited employer with approval to sponsor work visas, yet this vacancy is an onshore role, and only applicants who already hold New Zealand citizenship or residency can apply.
If you hold that status, present your career with the same care you bring to an engine, with years in the trade, the vehicle types you know and a clean safety record set out clearly in English. Present your workshop career in a refined CV with Build AI CV before you apply.
