The position calls for composure. You would assess patients as they present, set out and deliver a plan of care and evaluate its effect, working within a multidisciplinary team and offering steady support to patients and the people with them. Shifts follow a rotating roster that includes evenings, nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients as they present and set out a plan of emergency care
- Deliver and evaluate that care to a safe, effective, patient-centred standard
- Offer steady support to patients and their families during treatment
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary emergency team on a rotating roster of evenings, nights and weekends
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or eligibility for registration
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing, or equivalent
- The ability to provide high-quality nursing care consistent with professional competency standards
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making
- Strong communication
- The ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
