As Team Leader you would report to the Painting Manager and guide a team over numerous sites, bringing a background in commercial construction painting and decorating and a consistently exceptional standard of work. Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Painting Manager
- Lead and motivate your team, working alongside them at numerous locations
- Oversee projects through to completion
- Manage team members day to day
- Resolve problems with considered solutions, or partner with the Painting Manager toward a positive outcome
- Sustain a safe work environment in compliance with OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter who must hold a completed apprenticeship
- Proven standing as a leading hand or 2IC
- Competence in managing projects and team members
- Strong communicator with organised working habits
- Able to offer solutions or collaborate with the Painting Manager toward a positive outcome when problems arise
- Keen attention to detail for quality control
- Reads project drawings with confidence
- Understands floor plans and elevations
- Manual driver's license
- White card
- Engagement as an employee only (no subcontractors or ABN holders)
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket
- Desirable: First Aid
- Desirable: airless spraying experience
- Current National Criminal History Check
