Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general carpentry throughout a variety of sites.
- Undertake framing, fixing and associated construction tasks.
- Deliver roofing installations together with roof repairs and upkeep.
- Measure and cut timber, framing and roofing materials.
- Assemble and install building components as each project requires.
- Finish exterior cladding and architraves and complete steel stud work.
- Work from construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements, following every instruction.
- Keep safety and efficiency front of mind while delivering a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant residential or commercial construction experience.
- A strong record of employment, supported by references that confirm your experience and the standard of your work.
- Ideally, a background in general carpentry, framing, fixing, roofing, exterior cladding, architraves and steel stud work, with the ability to read construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements.
- Site Safe and other relevant trade tickets and licences are considered advantageous.
- Your own hand and power tools are desirable.
- A Drivers license and your own vehicle are advantageous.
