For an experienced chef considering a calm, considered next move, this Chef Manager post offers stability. It is a permanent, full-time appointment in an aged care home near Goulburn, NSW, with an Australian-owned contract caterer that has served aged care, education, retail and remote clients for 25 years.
Whether you currently cook in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, the brief is the same: lead the kitchen independently, produce fresh food in volume, prepare texture-modified meals that suit each resident and keep hygiene immaculate. The working week runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery
- Current Food Safety Supervisor qualification
- Experience spanning food preparation, bulk cooking and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of texture-modified diets and of meeting individual dietary requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards
- Current National Criminal History Check, and the ability to meet the flu vaccination requirements of the site
